CONSTRUCCIONES Y SERVICIOS FAUS, S.A. creates a specific structure according to the particular analysis of the work to be carried out in order to assign the most appropriate human team and resources for the works execution. We manage all the works on the basis of a structure that depends on 3 mainstays:

–Centralized management: Material and human resources at construction sites’ disposal from our office.

–Technical management: Technical team in direct contact with the construction sites.

–Works management: Human team and works execution resources.

As far as centralized management is concerned, this will be in charge of performing those tasks that can be more efficiently coordinated in a centralized way, relieving from work the site project team. Within the office support at the construction site we wish to emphasize the following:

Purchasing Department: It is responsible for purchasing the materials required for the construction work in coordination with the technical team.

The materials are purchased when the offer is made, which facilitates the availability of materials prior to use. We print a list of the materials required for the construction work. This is submitted to the purchasing department and from that moment they can send their requests for quotation.

Thus, once the construction works begin, the materials are confirmed and the firm order is placed, reaching an average 60% of purchasing before the first days of the work execution.

A subsequent follow-up of the construction work is done by the technical team in order to adjust deliveries according to the rhythm of the work, re-planning the supplies, if needed.

Accounting and Recruitment Department: It is responsible for the necessary actions for the sake of a correct invoicing and recruitment process, thus relieving the technical team, but always with an internal communication structure that enables us to keep the site project team informed of all processes.

Safety and Health Department: It is responsible for any action or supervision related to safety and health, as well as any incident in affected services. A specific technician is assigned for the in situ control of the construction work.

As far as the technical management is concerned, a specific structure is assigned, normally composed of a construction site representative and the responsible of the contract bound to our final customer. He will have a site manager at their charge that will be in direct contact with the construction site and that will be responsible for the execution control and the correct planning progress. In coordination with the site manager we have a production manager and a human resources manager.

In parallel there are figures responsible for Quality Control and Environmental issues, who make a parallel control during execution.

In relation to construction work management, there will always be a foreman on site, establishing below this person all the working teams, organized depending on the kind of task to be carried out.
